Everyday Makeup

As I was doing my makeup today, I thought why not share with you all the products I'm using. Seeing as I haven't shown you my makeup in a blog post for a while, I thought why not show you now. Some of these products I'm using today are also relatively new but since I got them I have been loving them so far.

Anyway, let's begin!

The first thing I use is concealer. I don't use foundation daily just because I find it's too much effort and so I save it for special occasions if I'm going to a party or going on a night out. Instead I use concealer as I can conceal the dark circles under my eyes and any spots or blemishes on my face. I love doing this because I'm not completely covering my face and my skin can breathe while also covering up any imperfections on my face. The concealer I use is the Revolution Fast Base Concealer in the shade C3. I recently bought this concealer online from Superdrug and ever since I got it, I've been loving it. It has great coverage under the eyes and on any blemishes on my face. I would highly recommend.

Next I like to powder my face with a translucent powder. It sets my concealer but I also kind of treat it as a powdered foundation even though it is translucent. I just like to think of it as an extra layer of makeup to cover my face and I just feel like the base of my makeup is done once I have powdered. The powder I used is an old favourite and I just always seem to come back to it when I'm looking for a powder to use. It is the Rimmel Stay Matte translucent powder.

The next step I do is blusher. I'm someone that would always choose blusher over contour because I feel like it adds a bit of colour to your cheeks and just looks way more natural. The blusher I use is a favourite of mine because it's such a subtle colour and it's not over the top. That is Miss Sport Insta Glow Blusher in the shade Luminous Beige.

I also like to have a little glow on my cheeks too and honestly this highlighter is perfect. Especially with blush because it's not too bright but it just adds a little glow and the pink shimmer works well alongside the blush. I use the MUA Shimmer Highlighter Powder in the shade Pink Shimmer. If you're looking for a subtle highlighter I would highly recommend this one.

For eyeshadow, I just love using browns and nude shades but to keep it simple I prefer just using one shade normally. However, you can add more to this but my personal preference is one shade. The eyeshadow I love using is the No 7 Stay Perfect Eye Shadow in the shade Truffle. This is a great eyeshadow because it has a little shimmer to it but it's not over the top on your eyes. It's perfect for everyday wear but also for a special occasion.

I like to do my eyebrows before putting on mascara just because I feel like the eyebrows look better before you put mascara on. I used to swear by eyebrow powder (and I still do) but I recently bought this new eyebrow product and I love it. It is the Revolution Pro Microblading Precision Eyebrow Pencil. On one end, it has the eyebrow brush and on the other is the little pencil. I like this because you can just brush your eyebrows out then fill in the gaps with the pencil. It's so quick and easy. I love it. Give it a try if you have not yet.

For my eyelashes, I prefer using a waterproof mascara because it smudges less as I have a habit of rubbing my eyes. This one I love because you can have natural looking lashes or you can make them more voluminsing. It is the Maybelline Lash Sensational Waterproof Mascara. It will change your life when you get it because it is one of the best mascaras ever.

Onto the lips now and before I apply anything, I always like to moisturise my lips with a lip balm. This one is a Vaseline lip balm with spf 15 on it but the writing has rubbed off because I use it so much. I just hate having dry lips so I always like to make sure I've moisturised my lips with a lip balm before putting any other lip product on them.

Finally, I like to use lip gloss on my lips because I just like the shimmer texture on the lips. It's also so much easier to apply. Honestly though you can use any lip product you want on your lips. This is just what I used today. It's the Revolution Nudes Collection Lip Gloss in the shade Bare All. It's just a nice nude lip gloss. I'm a big fan of wearing a nude lip and this one is perfect.
