My Makeup Bag

I recently got a new makeup bag as well as some new makeup products so I thought I'd show you what's in my everyday makeup bag.

I do have more makeup than this but this is just the stuff I use on an everyday basis. Plus this is easier to store it all in one place so I know everything I need to do my everyday makeup is in this makeup bag.

Let's get started!

This is the makeup bag which I recently bought from Amazon. I wanted a small makeup bag because it kind of encourages me to only store the products that I need and use on a daily basis. It's also handy if I was to go travelling and needed to take my makeup. It just makes me happy that it's very minimalistic and I pretty much use all the products inside on a daily basis and even for when I go to work. I'll leave a link to the makeup bag below if any of you were curious about it.

The first thing and probably one of my favourite makeup products is my concealer. This is probably no surprise to anyone but this is Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer and it is in the shade fair 1. I love using this concealer for blemishes and spots. I just feel it does the job perfectly.

This is a concealer I've had for a while and I just put it in my everyday makeup bag so I can use it for. It's the No 7 Match Made Concealer in the shade Cool Vanilla. I use it for under eye dark circles and just find the creamy stick works perfectly for me. I don't need a lot of it but I really enjoy using it.

As you can tell with all the writing rubbed off that I've used this a lot. It's my favourite lip balm. It's the Vaseline Lip Therapy in the shade rosy. What I love this lip balm is that it has SPF 15 so it feels like my lips are protected in the sun. I've always trust Vaseline for a good lip balm because it's very moisturising on the lips.

This is a new powder which has recently come out and because I absolutely love Revolution products thought I'd try as my other powder recently hit pan. This is the Revolution Matte Base Powder in the shade P1. I believe it's one of their palest shades but the have a variety of shades. It blends really well over my concealer and adds a tiny bit of colour to my skin but it matches my pale skin very well so I can hardly notice it. It's a very good everyday pressed powder and I love that it's rectangular because you just have to flick your brush over it back and forth. Very handy to have and fits nicely in my makeup bag.

This is one of my favourite eye shadow shades and it's just nice by itself for if you were going out somewhere. It is the No 7 Stay Perfect Eye Shadow in the shade Truffle. It's very pigmented and blendable. I love wearing it for going out or a special occasion. It's also small and fits into the little pocket under the mirror in my makeup bag.

Now for the contents in the bottom half of my makeup bag.

This is one of my favourite mascaras. It's so affordable and does the job nicely for an everyday mascara. It's the Maybelline Great Lash Very Black Waterproof mascara. I love waterproof mascaras because they don't smudge. I'm someone who gets watery and itchy eyes so it's a struggle with mascara because usually it'll smudge off my hand and down my face if I rub my eyes. This one however doesn't smudge and stays on my eyelashes throughout the day. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a good everyday mascara.

This is another recent purchase in my makeup bag. I bought this because my everyday eyebrow powder's brand had discontinued so I wanted to find a new favourite and found this. It is the Collection Eyebrow Kit in the shade blonde and it's amazing. It has it's own eyebrow gel which doesn't fall out of the packaging which is perfect for travelling and the lightest blonde shade works for my eyebrows so it's a win win. Unfortunately I have two shades which I don't use as they're too dark but the options there if I ever dye my hair or want darker eyebrows for some reason. All in all I love using this product on a daily basis.

This is the Maybelline Khol Eyeliner and it's just a very simple black eyeliner. I love using this eyeliner for my waterline and even over my lash line sometimes. It does the job very nicely and it's a great pencil eyeliner.

This is the Collection Speedy Highlighter in the shade Pearl Sheen and it's a nice subtle highlighter for everyday use. It just adds a nice highlight to your skin which is not too overwhelming so it's perfect for everyday use. I like to use it just before powder then add a bit extra after powder. It's very easy to use as it's a cream highlighter that you can just roll onto your skin but you can also use your brush with it as well to blend it in. It's a nice highlighter.

Now this a product which I'm not sure you can get anymore which I'm really gutted about because I absolutely love this eyeshadow duo. It's the Natural Collection Duo Eye Shadow in the shade Mocha/Latte. This is a great eyeshadow duo for everyday use as it's nude and also very pigmented. It was just perfect but I've tried finding it in Boots but I think they've discontinued this product which is very sad. I'm definitely going to be using this product until it runs out. Hopefully I'll find a similar product which is a similar size that I can use instead.

This is one of my favourite blushers to use because it's a nice suttle blush to use. It has a little shimmer in it which kind of acts as a little highlight on my cheeks. It's the Miss Sporty Insta Glow Blusher in the shade Luminous Beige. It's just a nice natural looking blush colour which I love wearing. As you can see I've hit pan on it which means it's a well used blush.

This is my very dirty (apologies) Real Techniques sponge. As you can tell it's a well loved sponge that I use to blend in my concealer (and foundation when I do wear it). It's just a great sponge to use and I just keep it in my makeup bag because I always use it on a daily basis.

This is just a compact mirror which I got for Christmas and I believe it's from Home Bargains. I just keep it in my makeup bag for when I go travelling I always have a mirror on me for when I need to apply makeup. It's just something handy to have.
