Again, But Better
So I just finished reading a book (after being in the reading for so long). I kind of just decided to pick up this book and finish reading it. I was on chapter 7 but when I started reading it again today. I couldn't stop. I kind of wanted to know what happened next.
Anyway, I thought I'd share my thoughts and feelings on Again, But Better by Christine Riccio. Don't worry I'm not going to spoil it for you because I don't believe in spoilers.
I was very excited for this book because I've watched Christina's videos on YouTube because I'm a bookworm and she talks a lot about books so yeah. When I heard she was writing a novel, I thought it was a cool idea to get a novel out of a YouTuber who actually reads and talks about books on their channel so I figured it would be good. Plus her writing video series has kind of inspired me to start writing my own novel. Also the fact it's a contemporary novel just made me even more excited because that's my favourite genre plus romantic novels so yeah I kind of wanted to read this book.
The story revolves around Shane and she has decided to study a year abroad of college in London and it's just a cute story about second chances and starting over. It was full of surprises and it wasn't actually predictable. I had no idea where this story was heading as I was reading it which was good because it made me want to read more to find out. I was very satisfied when I got to the end. I kind of wished there was more and I hope there is a sequel at some point because I would love to know what happens next.
I kind of related to the character of Shane and it made me just want to start travelling some more and meet new people. After reading this I wanted to go away so I'm actually planning a day trip up North alone to do some shopping and exploring. So yeah I'm excited to jump on a train for three hours because who knows what can happen.
So yeah, I think this book is honestly now one of my favourite books. I love it so much and I'm so happy I read it. I think you should check it out if you're into contemporary, feel good novels.
Anyway, that's all I have to say about it for now.
I'll be back again soon with another blog post for you.
See you then.
