5 Year Plan
Do you ever just think about where you would be in five years time?
I thought it would be a fun post to share with you my five year plan and maybe I can look back on this post in five years time to see if I've achieved any of my goals.
In five years time, I will be twenty eight years old which actually feels kind of scary to me but we all must age every year, right?
So here is my little checklist of my five year plan:
1. Complete my masters degree
For those of you who do not know, I have applied to do a master's degree this September and been accepted with an unconditional offer. It's really exciting for me because I cannot wait to go back to university again and it will help to achieve my future career goals. This masters degree is also with an internship so I'll also be able to gain the relevant experience to progress further in my career. Hopefully in five years, I will have a master's degree.
2. Get a job in an advertising agency
I have a degree in Advertising and Media Studies where I had so much fun in university learning about and being able to create my own advertising campaigns. I hope to be able to get a job and experience working in an advertising agency which is my ideal career. Fingers crossed in five years, I will have a job in an advertising agency.
3. Be in a stable relationship
Now this one is kind of reaching for the stars and may or may not happen. As you know, I haven't really had much luck with being in a relationship and only ever experienced it with one guy. I hope by the time I am twenty eight years old that I will meet Mr Right and we will be in a happy, stable relationship. Hopefully. At least, I hope I get the chance to experience at least one other relationship by the time I am twenty eight. You never really know what might happen in the future.
4. Living on my own
Now, I am pretty secure and happy living at home with my mum at the moment but in September I will be moving away to university for a year. My goal for after university is to move into my own flat and actually live on my own or with a potential roommate (depending on what the situation is). I have lived on my own before when I went to university the first time by living in halls in first year and then living in a student house with three housemates for two years. So yeah I hope that in five years time and I'll be living on my own in my own flat whether that's with a roommate or on my own, I hope it will happen.
5. My blog will have a 100,000 page views
I thought I may as well throw in a little blog goal. I absolutely love blogging and this blog is my little baby. It means so much whenever someone views a post of mine or goes through my blog. The fact someone takes the time out of their day to view and read my blog posts, maybe even take something away from something I wrote means so much to me. I would absolutely love my blog to get 100,000 page views as that means my blog will have been viewed over 100,000 times and to me that is an impossible goal but at the same time it would be incredible. I really appreciate anyone who views and reads my blog posts and I thank anyone reading this right now. You are making a twenty three year old girl very happy right now.
Anyway, that is my little five year plan. I didn't want to bore you with every single detail of my five year plan but those are the top five goals I have.
Thank you for reading my blog and I'll be back tomorrow with another post.
See you then.
