Day In My Life

I thought today I would do a Day In My Life post but I thought I would do something a little bit different. I thought instead of taking photos of every single thing I did that day, I would just use 10 photos. I was inspired to do this by a post I saw on Pinterest. It just gives a little glimpse of my day and as my days are not very exciting so I thought this would be a fun idea.

So here is a day in my life through 10 photos.

I can't start my day without coffee. I'm sure the amount of times I mention coffee on this blog, you will realise I am a bit of a coffee addict. I have tried going a week without coffee and it was horrible so I gotta have my morning coffee.

On this day I decided to do a bit of work for my future. You may or may not be aware but I've been accepted to do a masters degree in Manchester this September so I thought I'd get some research done on it just so I'm prepared for what's to come.

I bought a box of five Cadbury Creme Eggs as they were on sale now that Easter has been and gone so I thought I'd indulge in a creme egg.

I also bought a box of caramel lattes the day before too so I decided to try it out and let's just say, I'm in love.

While I was busy researching, I was watching old episodes of The Apprentice because watching those always gets me in a productive mood. I don't know why but it just does. I aspire to hopefully be a successful business woman. No idea that will ever happen but a girl can dream but I know I won't ever apply to be on The Apprentice because I fear I will be eaten alive.

After watching a few episodes of the Apprentice, I thought I'd switch it up and listen to my MP3 player. I bought this from Amazon a while ago and I love it. It just reminds me of simpler times and it's filled with all my favourite songs so I never really have to skip songs. I just put the shuffle on and let it play while I work.

I decided to treat myself and have a crust filled pepperoni pizza for dinner and it was delicious.

On this day, I got an Amazon order finally which was very exciting. I actually bought two new books. One was I Heart Hollywood by Lindsey Kelk and the other was The Girls' Book of Glamour A Guide To Being A Goddess. I thought it would be a fun read and inspire me with blog posts. I know it's meant for teenagers and I do own a copy of another one of their books which is The Girls' Book Of Secrets which I had as a teenager. They're just fun books with some useful tips like having a good pamper session or a good night's sleep. I decided to read it on this day.

It was Friday on this day which means it was Corrie night. I kind of enjoy these nights where me and my mum sit down to enjoy an episode of Coronation Street.

After watching Coronation Street, mum had recorded Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory so we decided to give it a watch. Obviously every time we watch it, the same debate goes on. Which version is the best and I refuse to argue this because both versions are equally as good as the other. They bring something unique to their movies and if they didn't have one another to compete with then they would each be good versions of the Roald Dahl story.

This brings me to the end of the day because we watched the movie up until half eleven at night and I'm pretty sure after it ended, I went straight to bed.

So yeah that was a day in my life through 10 photos. It was actually kind of nice and you didn't have the pressure of capturing every single thing you did. You just captured small moments of the day which is really nice to look back on.

Anyway, that's all I have to say today. Thank you for reading my blog and I'll be back tomorrow with another post for you.

See you then.
