July Favourites

Image
July is one of those months that feels like it lasts forever. That's probably because I've spent a lot of time inside, although that's nothing new to me. I have found a few favourites which I have been loving this month and I thought I may as well share with you guys what I've been loving this July. From this list you will definitely be able to tell I've spent a lot of time inside. So let's get started. TV Shows: The Big Bang Theory I never actually finished watching the entire series of The Big Bang Theory. I used to watch it whenever it came on the TV but I never actually watched the entire series. I did watch up until series 6 before but never after it. So instead of going right to the start of the series, I decided to start in the middle with series five as I knew roughly what was going on and this method has worked because I'm remembering things that happened but also discovering episodes I've never seen before. It's great. Don&

My Dream Wedding?

Image
Just to clarify and before anyone gets any wrong ideas, no I'm not engaged or about to get married. I'm a single, twenty three year old who's only ever been with one guy and is not getting married anytime soon. I've been watching a lot of Don't Tell The Bride recently and a lot of people I went to school with are getting married. So weddings have been on my mind and more specifically my own. I can't help but wonder what my dream wedding would be like and if it will be easier to start planning what I want for it now or just wait until I'm actually engaged. Don't worry, I'm not that weird that I'm going to wedding dress shops and trying on dresses. That is something I will wait until I'm actually engaged. Although I have looked online at wedding dresses and figured out the kind of dress I want. A girl can dream can't she. Of course the main thing I will need at the wedding is a husband so anything else will be a real bonus when it com

How To Be Productive

Image
In times like this, it can be hard to be productive. Especially if many of us are out of work or working from home or just want to be more productive in our daily lives. I thought I'd give you guys a productive structure which works for me and you can edit to make your own. So without further ado, this is how I am productive. 1. Wake up early I think the key to being productive is waking up early and having more time in the day so you can get more done. It may be a struggle in the beginning if you're not used to waking up early but the more you do it then your body will naturally just wake up early. 2. Get ready as soon as you get up The best way to be productive is to do something productive as soon as you get up from bed. Something simple as getting dressed is one step to being productive. I never feel motivated to do anything in my pyjamas so just getting ready for the day gets me in the mood to get some work done. 3. Tidy up I cannot work if my surroundings are mes

A New Month

Image
I can't believe it's the beginning of a new month and we're now over halfway through the year. The first half of this year has kind of sucked but I have hope that the second half will be better. Things are slowly going back to normal (well as normal as they can be in these current times) and hopefully things will just get better overall. I'm hoping things will get better. I've been kind of lacking in self-care for myself and making sure I'm okay. I've been overthinking a lot of things and just generally being a little too lazy. This month though I plan to make some changes in looking after myself and preparing for the future. I'm hopeful that in September I will be moving and starting university again so that's exciting. They keep emailing me with important details and so I'm pretty sure that part of my life is still going ahead. Anyway, that's all I have to really say. I hope this month brings you joy. You truly deserve it. Thank you
