July Favourites

July is one of those months that feels like it lasts forever. That's probably because I've spent a lot of time inside, although that's nothing new to me. I have found a few favourites which I have been loving this month and I thought I may as well share with you guys what I've been loving this July. From this list you will definitely be able to tell I've spent a lot of time inside.

So let's get started.

TV Shows:

The Big Bang Theory
I never actually finished watching the entire series of The Big Bang Theory. I used to watch it whenever it came on the TV but I never actually watched the entire series. I did watch up until series 6 before but never after it. So instead of going right to the start of the series, I decided to start in the middle with series five as I knew roughly what was going on and this method has worked because I'm remembering things that happened but also discovering episodes I've never seen before. It's great.

Don't Tell The Bride
I used to love watching this show back in the day when it was on BBC3. The idea of putting the most magical day of your life in the hands of the groom is hilarious, especially when the grooms are completely clueless on what to do and there's a lot of meltdowns. I was watching clips on YouTube but found the series on All 4 so I decided to start binge watching it for a bit of fun.

Flatmates
I was on BBC iPlayer looking for something to watch and I discovered this show called Flatmates. It's a comedy drama about the lives of five young adults dealing with adulthood and what it's like with flatmates. I started watching episode one out of curiosity and ended up watching all ten episodes.  It was a fun watch and highly relatable to the young adults.

Books:

Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine
I've been meaning to read this book for a while so at the beginning of the month I decided to give it a read. I found myself relating a lot to Eleanor who likes to stick to a structured routine but is also very lonely. There is a bit of drama and heartbreak but it is definitely worth a read. You also are uncovering a bit of a mystery by the end of the book and I found my mind blown when I finished the book. I will warn there are some slightly hard hitting topics that are not suitable for young readers but it was a very good read in my opinion.

Video Games

Harry Potter
Recently I've been addicted to playing Harry Potter video games on the PS2. So far I've played the first three Harry Potter games on PS2 and I honestly love them. Even though I know them inside and out I just enjoy playing them. They are some of my favourite video games of all time and particularly the early games on the PS2 are amazing. My favourite is Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban on PS2. I just love how you can play as all three characters plus you get to ride Buckbeak the Hippogriff around Hogwarts which is pretty cool. During this lockdown, I don't know how I would have been able to cope without my Harry Potter video games.

Candy Crush
I know this is technically not a video game but it still is a game. I sometimes go back and forth with Candy Crush but recently it's been a nice way to pass the time. It gets pretty addictive sometimes and you only get five lives so eventually I will stop playing it when I've lost all my lives. I just love it.

So that's all my favourites in July, let me know what you've been loving this month. I would love to hear it.

Thank you for reading my blog and I'll be back soon with another post for you.

See you then.
