September Plans
Just like that we're back at the start of another academic year. I'm kind of just writing off everything that happened in 2020 and making these last four months the best ones yet.
September is actually exciting for me because I'll be heading off to university in a week's time to study my master's degree which is scary but also exciting. I'm actually looking forward to having some kind of structure to my life as well as the stress of assignments. It's going to be so great. I know it may be weird to be excited about stress for assignments but I'd rather be stressed over assignments than stressed about what I'm going to do with my life.
Part of my degree is an internship so I'm hoping to gain some experience and be able to network plus who knows, maybe they'll be a job at the end of it. This is kind of a big deal for me because I know after this is all over, I'll be finding a place of my own to live in Manchester and finally be living on my own. It all sounds scary but I know I'm ready for it and I know I can make it happen. Perhaps I'm getting my hopes up just a little bit right now but sometimes you have to stop doubting yourself and actually go do what you want to do. Plus if everything fails then at least I can say I tried and then try again.
So apart from moving to Manchester and studying my master's degree. That's pretty much all I have for my September plans. I'm excited to move up north again and be able to meet new people plus go to university. It's going to be a new experience and this will be the first time I've actually been excited in 2020 so it is a big deal.
Now, posts may vary this month as I'll be moving and getting used to life as a Master's student but I'll make sure to post as regularly as I can and let you know how it's going.
With that being said, thank you for reading my blog and I'll be back soon with another post for you.
See you then.
