Back To Reality

Does anyone find the days between Christmas and New Years really weird? It's like we've had the festive period and now it's like we're waiting for the new year to arrive. For many of us after Boxing Day, it's back to reality and going back to work. For some people who have the week off it's a time to go shopping and enjoy the Boxing Day sales plus enjoy the Christmas presents. 

For me, I'm going back to work today which means an early start and just going back to normal. At least I'm only in three days, then I have three days off as it's a Bank Holiday on Monday. This I'm excited for as I'm going to be travelling down to visit my Dad's for New Years which is something I haven't done in a long time so I'm looking forward to it. It just means I have to deal with travelling during the busy weekend but it's worth it to spend time with my family. 

Anyway, I hope you all have a lovely day whatever it is you're doing. Whether you're like me and going back to work or just enjoying the last few days of your holiday. I hope you have a good day.

Planning for the future is probably one of the most scariest things. Especially when you have an end goal but have no idea how to achieve that goal. 30 Things To Do Before I'm 30

I thought I would do one of those posts where I talk about things I want to do in the future and why not do a 30 things I want do before I'm 30 so I have about nine years to achieve these thirty goals for myself. It's also something I could look back on when I am thirty years old to see if I actually have achieved any of these things. Hopefully I will but we'll have to wait and see in nine years time. 1. Get my degree Now this is probably an obvious one as I'm in my third year of university but honestly after two years of doing university it would be nice if next year I could have a degree. Chapter Two

The end of the longest month of the year to enter the shortest month of the year, except it's a leap year so instead of twenty eight days, we have twenty nine days. How exciting.  I've had an interesting first month of the year. I booked a once in a lifetime trip to Las Vegas and I'm also planning on booking a holiday to Ireland which is very exciting as I've never been to Ireland before. I think this year is going to be full of adventures so I'm looking forward to what this year will bring. It's getting me motivated to start living a healthier lifestyle though. Eating less and moving more.  I'm also still saving up on top of all the holidays, I hope to buy a car this year. I'm not sure what I'm planning on doing this February.
