March Favourites
I can't believe it's the final day of March and you know what that means. It's time for another post about what I've been loving this month. I'm going to be honest with you. This month has flown by and I feel like my list isn't that long because I didn't get much of a chance to enjoy many things because of things like work and packing for Ireland. However, I have managed to enjoy a couple of things this month so I'm going to share them with you now.
The Apprentice
I've been loving this year's Apprentice so far. It's definitely different because the candidates don't seem to be completely useless and full of themselves like in previous series. I feel like every firing that has happened so far has been justified. I can't even put my finger on who my favourite to win is but my favourite candidate is Tre Lowe as he has done really well so far and I hope he gets far in the competition. I don't know if he'll win it but we shall have to see. I am also aware I'm writing this before an episode of The Apprentice so for all I know Tre might have been fired but I hope not. Otherwise, my thoughts right now would be useless. Either way I think he's a great candidate and to be fair a lot of them have been great so it is a really hard call to make. Either way I've enjoyed this year's series so far.
Scrapbooking
One thing that I've been really enjoying this month is scrapbooking because it is so satisfying to do and I love creating different pages. I've bought lots of supplies so I've always got something to scrapbook. I've even started creating a themed Scrapbook to do with fashion that I'm really excited about. It just shows that all you really need is a good sketchbook or notebook, some glue or double sided tape or stickers then you can just scrapbook to your heart's content using magazines, art supplies. It's just nice to get lost in it for a while. I'm not staring at a screen while I'm doing it. I may listen to some music while I do my scrapbooking. Sometimes, I will watch a video on YouTube of a scrapbooking ASMR which is nice to watch, although I can never replicate what they do because I'm still a newbie to it all. However, I've definitely improved since I started. I can safely say I've really enjoyed scrapbooking this month.
A Series Of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket
A book series which I started reading in February and continued with the series throughout March. This was the first time I've read the whole of the book series, which I was really glad I got around to doing because I've always wanted to complete the series and the opportunity arose last month. I thoroughly enjoyed the series and I already knew what was going to happen because of the TV series. I had to remind myself at times this was a book series meant for children but I still enjoyed it. The only thing that I was disappointed with is that the last book felt a bit unfinished and there were a lot of unanswered questions. I kind of wished there was another book to kind of tie up any loose ends but at the same time, it's open to interpretation which I think the writer was going for. I'm aware there's also the Beatrice Letters which is a companion book to the series and I think also answers a few of those unanswered questions. I also know there's Lemony Snicket's The Unauthorised Autobiography which again might answer a few questions. Either way, I'm really glad I read this series and completed it because it is a good series. I just wished I'd completed it when I was younger because I would have enjoyed it then as well.
Surprise Me by Sophie Kinsella
Another book I read this month was Surprise Me and after not finishing it the first time then coming across the book again I decided to give it another chance. I'm really glad I did because even though the beginning was a little slow and I thought I knew what was going to happen. I was wrong. As I got further into the book, I found myself intrigued about what was going to happen and found myself trying to guess what would happen but everytime I was wrong as it seemed there was this hidden secret going on. Then when it was eventually revealed everything slowly made sense and I really enjoyed it. I wouldn't say this was my favourite Sophie Kinsella book but it's definitely worth a read.
Studio London Flaunt Flawless Cream Concealer
Honestly, I love this concealer ever since I bought it at the start of this month. It has great coverage but also it doesn't cake around the eyes which is what I love. It blends in so well and matches my skin perfectly. Plus it has good coverage so it covers those dark circles and redness on my face which is what I want from a concealer as I don't use foundation. I'd never used this brand before but I've been thoroughly impressed so far with the products I've bought.
Another Studio London product but I've been loving this palette. The pigmentation is so good, you hardly have to put much product on the brush. Plus it's great for a natural look but you can also use this palette to glam up as well with the glittery shades. Also the palette itself is square and small so it's easy to travel with as well as I know because I took this palette with me to Ireland. I've been really impressed with Studio London's products and I kind of want to explore more of their products. I know they're a Superdrug brand so they'll only be available from Superdrug.
There we have it, those are my March Favourites. Let me know what you've loved in March in the comments below, I would love to hear about them.
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for taking the time to read my blog this month. I hope you've enjoyed all 31 of the posts. I've worked really hard on a lot of them and also tried different styles of photography with some of them which I'm happy with how they turned out. It's really pushed me to post more on my blog as I really enjoy blogging.
Once again, thank you for reading my blog. I really do appreciate it and I'll actually be back tomorrow with Chapter Four of my blog so be sure to check that out tomorrow.
See you then.
