April Favourites

Image
As it's the end of the month it's time for another monthly favourites post. This month has been quite an interesting month and I've enjoyed a few things this month so let's get started. Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone PS1 Game Honestly, this is a classic game that I always enjoy playing. It's a game I don't have to think too much about because I know where every secret, bean and card is in the game. It's a game I always love playing because it takes me no time at all to complete as normally it can take me two and half to three hours to complete. Every time I play this game I set myself a challenge to complete it in the quickest time because the save actually gives you the time you've spent playing the game and I always try to beat it. I love this game and it's always a treat to play it. The graphics are something else but I can't help but love the nostalgia whenever I play this game.  Beauty and the Beast This was a movie I watched o...

What's In My Bag?

Image
I recently got a new bag and you know what that means. It's time to see what's in my bag. I know I did one of these a month or so ago but I've switched things up a little bit. Plus who doesn't love being nosy and what's in my bag is my favourite kind of content. I like seeing what people keep in their bags and try to take some inspiration from them. Without further ado, let's see what's in my bag.  This is my bag which is a Miss Lulu Chic V Quilted Tote Bag. I love it because it has so much room inside but also looks so stylish. I love the M key chain on it because my first name is Megan so it's a nice touch. Plus it has handles that fall nicely on the side of the bag so they don't get in the way as well as a long strap which I can put across my body to carry it. I love Miss Lulu bags and I'm so excited to have this bag. I honestly love it so far.  Now for the inside. This is my iPhone 11 and I recently got a new phone case. I got a Casetify case...

Going Out Prep

Image
Last week on Friday I went on a night out for the first time in forever and it got me thinking about what is the best way to get ready for a night out. I thought I'd share with you my own personal insight into how I get ready for a night out on the town. Let's get started.  The first thing I like to do when getting ready for a night out is have a bath. A shower is quick and easy but I feel with a bath I could do a full pamper session of washing my hair, body, shaving and doing a face mask. Just anything to prep my skin ready for a night out on the town and my most crucial part of a night out is making sure I smell good. That's why I always have to have a bath before going out on a night out.  While I'm getting ready, I always like to have a cheeky pre-drink to get me in the mood and my drink of choice is always rum and coke. More specifically this was Malibu which is one of my favourite rums.  The first part of getting ready is doing my hair. First I have to dry it with...

A Book Haul

Image
As someone who is currently reading two books at the moment which are The Burnout by Sophie Kinsella and As Old As Time by Liz Braswell. I only have two more books left on my bookshelf so I thought I'd look into getting some new books. That's exactly what I've done with three new books on my bookshelf that I'm very excited to read and thought I'd share with you today in a book haul.  Let's get started. The Happiest Ever After by Milly Johnson Something I've really been trying to do is branch out and read different author's books and so far it's paid off as I've been thoroughly pleased with my findings. This is no exception and honestly I'm really excited to give this book a read as I can relate how heartedly to it. It's about Polly who is currently having a rough time at the moment with an awful boss and her partner ended up cheating on her. One thing she does love is writing her novel where she's created a more successful version of ...

Dublin Photo Journal

Image
Last weekend, I was in Dublin and I thought it would be a fun idea to share a photo journal with you of the trip so here it is. Our journey began after I finished work where we travelled up to Liverpool. We went through the Mersey tunnel and made our way to the Adelphi hotel in Liverpool which was a hotel I've stayed in many times and always enjoyed. We then went for a walk around Liverpool and ended up in Matthew Street which is always fun to walk through. After we got back to the hotel and was able to catch up on the Apprentice.  The next day we made our way to Liverpool John Lennon Airport which is an airport I've never been to before. It was pretty straightforward, although security was pretty stressful. It's why we had to have a cheeky beverage at 10am in the morning before making our way to the gate. The flight itself was alright although very bumpy. We went right at the back of the plane and had a window seat. It was a pretty nice flight and went so quick that before...
