April Favourites

As it's the end of the month it's time for another monthly favourites post. This month has been quite an interesting month and I've enjoyed a few things this month so let's get started.
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone PS1 Game
Honestly, this is a classic game that I always enjoy playing. It's a game I don't have to think too much about because I know where every secret, bean and card is in the game. It's a game I always love playing because it takes me no time at all to complete as normally it can take me two and half to three hours to complete. Every time I play this game I set myself a challenge to complete it in the quickest time because the save actually gives you the time you've spent playing the game and I always try to beat it. I love this game and it's always a treat to play it. The graphics are something else but I can't help but love the nostalgia whenever I play this game.
Beauty and the Beast
This was a movie I watched one evening in April when I was having a pamper session and I was reminded why it's my favourite Disney movie of all time. Mainly because it was a movie I'd watch on repeat when I was a child. I also relate to the character of Belle who feels like she's odd because everyone thinks she's different and reads books which is similar to how I feel about myself as well as consider myself a bookworm. It's just a feel good movie that you can't help but love and sets the bar high when it comes to romantic gestures. Like does he really love you if he doesn't give you a library? Also the music is beautiful and I've already planned that if I ever got married I would want to either walk to the aisle to the Beauty and the Beast theme or my first dance would be the song too or even both. That would definitely be something I hope will happen but I'll have to wait and see for the right guy. Anyway, this is my favourite Disney movie and I love it.
The Burnout By Sophie Kinsella
I read a couple of books this month but this one was definitely one of my favourites this month. I honestly love reading a Sophie Kinsella book because I know I'm going to get something good every time. Honestly, her books are like a romantic comedy in book form and this was no exception. I honestly related so much to this book, especially the main character Sasha. I do sometimes feel like I'm heading for a burnout and honestly could do with a break away. This book has inspired me to plan a little solo staycation somewhere in the UK and a getaway for the night. I'm not entirely sure where but I'm hoping it will happen soon. Maybe in May I will do something and blog all about it for you. Either way I really loved reading this book and would highly recommend it.
This Spells Love by Kate Robb
I read this book this month as well and for the first time in a long time, I didn't read it with an audiobook. If you didn't know, my secret to reading lots of books this year is that I listen to audiobooks even to books I own. This book I didn't have as an audiobook as I'd used my Audible credit for the month and I fancied trying to read a book with no audiobook. All I can say is this book was perfect. Honestly, I loved the story so much. It's about Gemma who after a messy breakup goes to her mystic aunt and ends up wishing she never met her ex four years ago. The next morning discovers her wish has come true as it's the current time but everything is in a different timeline. Suddenly her life is completely different to what it was with a new apartment, new job and her best friend of four years named Dax no longer knows who she is. However, in order to undo the spell she needs Dax for the ritual. This leads to Gemma getting herself reacquainted with Dax and his new life. Suddenly it becomes clear that they might just be more than friends which leads to a rollercoaster of emotion and the ultimate question of will Gemma ever go back to the way things were? Honestly, I loved reading this book. I loved the chemistry between Gemma and Dax. I loved the antics they get up to especially when they first meet and Gemma knows Dax but Dax has no idea who she is. Honestly, this story could have gone a number of directions and that's what made it so great was that it was unpredictable but also fun to read. I highly enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend it as it is a feel good romantic comedy in a book. I loved it.
Noodles
This is a very random one but honestly I felt I had to mention it as it is a real comfort food for me and that is noodles. I honestly love noodles as they never let me down. My favourite has to be Batchelors Super Noodles chicken flavour as it always brings me joy to eat it. My family says I'll turn into a noodle the amount of noodles I eat but when it's something so quick and easy to make. Add a bit of soy sauce for taste and it's just perfect. I do sometimes spice it up with sweetcorn and ham if I'm feeling it but honestly I love noodles and feel they deserve to be a favourite of this month.

There we have it, those are my favourites for the month of April. Let me know what you've loved in April, I would love to hear it in the comments below.

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog and I'll be back again soon with another post.

See you then.
