Day Off
Today in the UK is a bank holiday which means I get a lovely day off which is always nice. It is important to take the time off when you can, especially when you work all the time. It's good to take the time to relax and not stress about it all the time. It's important to focus on yourself from time to time to get relaxed so that you're refreshed and ready to get back to work.
I used my three days off wisely. I spent some time hanging out with my family which is always nice. We went for a meal and I had this really nice pudding which was a chocolate dome on top of a brownie. It was one of those where you poured caramel sauce on top of it making the chocolate melts. It was really tasty but also really sickly. I still enjoyed it.
I then went for a walk with my mum and it's always nice to go for a walk to clear your head. Plus we were talking a lot during our walk about different things so it was nice to get things off my chest.
I did a bit of blogging on my blog as I'm preparing for a very exciting week but I'm also making plans for next month already so that's exciting. I woke up super early and was just in the mood to write. Sometimes when you get that motivation, you just have to go with it.
I also had a chance to do some scrapbooking which is a hobby I'm still committed to. I honestly love it because it's nice just to be able to focus on something. I've filled one scrapbook already which I'm really proud of. For my new scrapbook, I've got this fairy tale theme book at the moment that I'm working through and scrapbooking as I want to have a bit more focus on this book rather than randomly putting things down how I feel like it. Either way, it's very therapeutic for me and I'm having a good time doing it.
There we have it. That was my bank holiday weekend. Let me know how you spent your weekend relaxing, I would love to hear it.
Thank you for taking the time to read my blog and I'll be back soon with another post for you.
See you then.
