Desk Tour

As this week's theme has been all about blogging, I thought I'd share with you my workspace and where I write the majority of my blog posts on a weekly basis. Anyway without further ado let's begin the desk tour.
Firstly, I'll give you an overview of my desk which is currently the tidiest it has ever been. Although I did tidy it especially for this post, this is how I like to keep it most of the time. The desk itself is one I bought years ago from Argos. I'm not entirely sure they sell it anymore but it was one of the simpler, cheaper desks and it works for me as I mainly use my desk for blogging and doing my makeup so it's the perfect size for me. It has no drawers or anything and plenty of space underneath it, although I'm not going to show underneath because it's a little chaotic with my makeup products and beauty supplies. Anyway, enjoy an overview of my desk and then I'll go through each part of it.
The laptop that I use for everything including my blogging is my HP Chromebook 11.6 Inches. I love this because it's super lightweight and easy to carry around with me. I love having a small chromebook as it's compact and easy to use. Plus the majority of the things I use are Google products such as Chrome, Google Docs, YouTube and Blogger so having a chromebook is really beneficial to me.
I have another laptop which I've had for a few years now. It's an Asus Vivobook Celeron with 1TB and 15.6 inches. I got this laptop because of the memory. I haven't used it in a while because I use my Chromebook but it is super handy to have storage and served me well. Especially during my Master's degree.
Next I have my keyboard which I like to switch it up with from time to time because I like to lean back away from my screen especially when I'm working on Blog posts. This is a wireless keyboard that came with a pink mouse from Amazon. It has been useful to me and the other day I had the satisfying job of cleaning it and I love using it from time to time.
Beside my laptops I have my stationary. I have a Harry Potter tin pencil case which I believe is from Tesco. I use this if I fancy taking my writing out with me, I have a place to store my pens without staining my bag. I then have this Ravenclaw mug from Primark. It's a habit where I use mugs as storage for things and here I just store all my pens. Underneath I just have a stationary clip and pin set that has pins, paper clips and clips in it. It's always handy to have around.
As I use my desk to do my makeup, I have a mirror which I got from B&M. I also like to watch something while I'm writing my blog posts or doing my makeup so I have my phone set up on a tripod. The tripod itself is from Home Bargains and it makes for a good phone holder as well as something to use to keep my phone camera steady when taking pictures for my blog.
I like to keep my blogging notebook on hand next to me on my desk. The notebook itself is from Poundland and I love it because it's A5 size so it's easy to carry around with me. This is where I keep all my ideas, plans and any notes I may have for my blog. It's a lifesaver for me and helps me out a lot as I'm old school and like to see things physically rather than digitally from time to time.
Finally I have my wireless earphones which are another essential for me. The brand is Jxrev and I got these from Amazon. They last a really long time but also charge really quickly which is perfect for me as I always like to have my ear phones especially when I'm working on my latest post.
That concludes my desk tour. Let me know what your desk essential is in the comments below. For me it has to be my chromebook as that's where I do all my blogging, followed closely by my blogging notebook as that's where I keep the most organised.

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog and I'll be back tomorrow with another post for you.

See you then.
