Summer Bucket List

The summer season is here and I'm hoping to have an exciting Summer. That's why I've created my own personal Summer bucket list of all the things I want to do this Summer. Feel free to take inspiration from me or create your own personal one. Either way, have fun with it. Now onto my Summer Bucket List for 2024. Let's go.

1. Finish reading my bookshelf
I've only got a couple of books left on my bookshelf that I haven't read yet and I'm so excited because my goal is to read every book on my bookshelf. I'm aware it's a really random goal but honestly, I know I'm going to love it when I have the opportunity to say I've read every book on my bookshelf and have that moment to just flex. Although it will be a short moment before I buy a new book, at least I will have that moment. That's why this Summer I want to read the last few books on my reading list and then I will have finally read all the books on my bookshelf.

2. Go on a caravan holiday
Honestly, I haven't been on a caravan holiday in so long. I would love a chance to go on a caravan holiday because it's a whole different experience. You still have the luxury of your essentials like a kitchen, bed and bathroom but you also get to spend some quality time outside. No wifi. Be able to go for a walk and go to the club. There's a shop on sight and you get to experience a new place. I would love to go on a Caravan holiday. My favourite is Haven because I have fond memories of Haven holidays as a child and it always brings back memories when I go on a Haven holiday.

3. Have a beach day
I would love to have a beach day and I want to go all out. Have a picnic on a beach, take a good book to read, go paddling in the sea and even build a sandcastle. Yes, I still have a bucket and spade. Don't judge me. Plus it's just nice and relaxing. Especially if it's a quiet beach and hardly anyone's there. I hate the beach when it's too crowded as it's not fun because you always get people that set up too near where you are and it baffles me that some people don't know the concept of personal space. Either way, I would love to have a beach day this Summer.

4. Have a BBQ
Summer time in Britain and there's always one top priority. A BBQ. Even though it's cooking the same food you'd normally cook in the oven. There's just something about it being cooked on a BBQ that tastes great. Plus you get to enjoy some quality with your family and friends. Maybe even have a few drinks and just have fun in the sun. Honestly, I haven't had a BBQ in so long and I'm itching to have a BBQ this summer.

5. Go walking more
I want to go walking more and not just the same places I walk. I want to walk new places and even go visit some nature reserves. Enjoy some wildlife and just walk for a few hours. Plus it's great for your mental and physical health so I would love to get some walking done this Summer.

6. Have a solo getaway
This is something I've been meaning to do for a long time and that is to go away somewhere on my own. I might not go as far as to go abroad on my own just yet. Instead I want to have a staycation somewhere in the UK. Again, not really sure where yet but I've been meaning to go on a trip on my own for a while and this summer I plan to do it. Just pack a bag, go somewhere new and stay in a hotel on my own. Honestly, it sounds so perfect for me and I really want to try it out. It's something I'm definitely going to plan and when it happens, you can bet I'll blog it for you. This is something I really want to try this Summer and I'm hopeful it will definitely happen.

There we have it. That's my Summer bucket list. Let me know what's on your Summer bucket list in the comments below. I would love to hear your thoughts.

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog and I'll be back tomorrow with another post for you.

See you then.
