Day 1 Passport

The first photo of my August Photo Challenge is Passport so this is my passport.
I had to get a new passport recently as I went to Dublin in March and they said my passport expired in July 2024 even though the expiry date was April 2025. Apparently there's a new Brexit rule where passports are only valid for ten years so check to see when your passport was issued and if it's more than ten years then you most likely need a new passport. It's such a silly rule because everything goes by expiry dates so why not passports. Luckily when I reordered my passport it only took a week to process, I didn't even pay extra. I just put my old passport in an envelope and posted it in the post box. It got back to them fine and got back to me fine as well. 

I think I prefer the old burgundy coloured passports because they were such a classic colour. Now these passports just look like every other country's passport. I think every country should have a unique coloured passport and I know some countries do, I wish our passports were still burgundy. Let me know what you think if you have a UK passport. Planning for the future is probably one of the most scariest things. Especially when you have an end goal but have no idea how to achieve that goal. 30 Things To Do Before I'm 30

I thought I would do one of those posts where I talk about things I want to do in the future and why not do a 30 things I want do before I'm 30 so I have about nine years to achieve these thirty goals for myself. It's also something I could look back on when I am thirty years old to see if I actually have achieved any of these things. Hopefully I will but we'll have to wait and see in nine years time. 1. Get my degree Now this is probably an obvious one as I'm in my third year of university but honestly after two years of doing university it would be nice if next year I could have a degree. Chapter Two

The end of the longest month of the year to enter the shortest month of the year, except it's a leap year so instead of twenty eight days, we have twenty nine days. How exciting.  I've had an interesting first month of the year. I booked a once in a lifetime trip to Las Vegas and I'm also planning on booking a holiday to Ireland which is very exciting as I've never been to Ireland before. I think this year is going to be full of adventures so I'm looking forward to what this year will bring. It's getting me motivated to start living a healthier lifestyle though. Eating less and moving more.  I'm also still saving up on top of all the holidays, I hope to buy a car this year. I'm not sure what I'm planning on doing this February.
