October Favourites

The end of another month and that means it's time to share what I've been loving this month. Let's get started.

Not For Broadcast
I was looking for a new game to play and I came across this one on the PlayStation store. It’s where you are a tv broadcaster and you’re controlling the news. I didn’t know what to make of it at first but when I started getting into the story, I loved it. There’s so many paths you can go down with this game and it has multiple endings. I love those kinds of games because each play through is different. You also learn of details that all start to make sense with each path you take. I’ve been trying to achieve the trophies as well as get multiple endings and so far each play through has given me a different ending which is great. It’s definitely a fun game and also has different levels of difficulty but I go with the story mode difficulty because it’s less stressful. This was a game that I hadn’t heard of before but when I got it, I really enjoyed it this month.

America’s Next Top Model
This is a guilty pleasure watch. I’m aware of how controversial it is and how so many issues but you can’t help but watch. There’s drama, fights, interesting photo shoots and it’s just a bit of fun really. Plus I live for the makeovers and you can tell that some of the models were giving some of the worst makeovers. It’s just a guilty pleasure watch that I started rewatching this month and that’s why it’s on my October favourites.

Again But Better by Christine Riccio
I decided to reread this book for my Las Vegas holiday and I love it. It’s just a cute romance story where there’s a girl studying abroad in London and she meets a cute guy. There are so many cute moments and it just makes me wish I was a little more adventurous in my uni years, travelling to different places. It was honestly a fun read. I’m kind of envious and wished I had a cute guy best friend who made my heart flutter. Sadly I don’t but one day I hope to find my perfect person who I can be spontaneous with and go on adventures with. Anyway, I always enjoy reading this book and that’s why it’s in my favourites for this month.

Watching You by Lisa Jewell
I bought this book because it was on my recommended list on Amazon and decided to give it a read. Best decision ever. As soon as I started reading this book, I was intrigued. There’s so many different directions this story could have gone in. I liked the different perspectives and you never really know who to trust. I knew there was a connection between the characters but I couldn’t put my finger on it then bam a plot twist through me in all sorts of directions. Honestly, I loved reading this book and couldn’t put it down. Definitely one of my favourite reads of 2024. I’ve never read any of Lisa Jewell’s books but after reading this I kind of want to read some of her other stuff. This book was so good. I loved it.

There we have it, those are all the things I've been loving this month. Let me know what you've been loving this month, I would love to hear it.

Thank you for taking the time to view my blog and I'll be back tomorrow with Chapter Eleven.

See you then.
