Catch Up
I feel like it's been a while since I picked up my laptop and made a post. November just feels like it only began yesterday but already it's the 20th November and this is my second post in November. It's definitely been a chilled out month but I know I've got a busy few weeks coming up. I'm actually travelling down south tomorrow to visit family which I'm excited about as I haven't seen them in so long. Then the travelling doesn't stop because I'm going away the weekend after to Liverpool and Manchester which I'm excited about. I'm also looking forward to visiting the Christmas markets and getting in the festive mood. I've already completed my Christmas shopping which is nice. I feel like I've gotten some really good gifts this year and actually put a lot of thought into them which is a nice feeling.
I'm definitely going to have a Christmas movie marathon and go all out with hot chocolate, festive treats and lots of good movies. I feel like it's one of the best ways to get into the festive spirit. There's only five weeks to go and you may as well enjoy this time. I've already bought my advent calendar, although I'm shocked by the price. Once upon a time a Cadbury's advent calendar was £1 and now it's £2 with a clubcard. I bought mine from B&M which was £1.75 but still. Not the same as buying it for £1 in the good old days. Inflation is mad.
Anyway, I'm just making the most of enjoying the rest of this year because it has been a good year. I even went on a first date a couple of weeks ago for the first time in a year. I had a really nice time but we shall see where it goes. Other than that, I've mainly just been working or chilling out. I did visit my best friend last weekend which was really nice to have a catch up. and a sleepover. Honestly, adult sleepovers with your friends are so much better than when you were younger.
That's all I have to say for now. Apologies for the lack of posts this month but as we approach the festive season, there will be a lot more posts from me. We're also on track with completing my blogging goal of 150 posts this year which I'm already excited about doing.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my blog. I really do appreciate it and I'll be back again soon with another post.
See you then.
