November Favourites
It's that time of the month again where I share everything I've been loving this month. I can't quite believe we're at the end of November and December is tomorrow. It's crazy how quickly this year has gone. Anyway, let's get started with my favourites for this month.
Cluedo
I've been obsessed with this game this month. I've been playing it on my phone but I also discovered it on Playstation and knew I had to get it. Even more exciting was getting the achievements on it which is always a bonus for me when it comes to video games. It's just self satisfaction for me to get as many Playstation trophies as I can. I love Cluedo although I've never actually played the board game. I've only ever played the mobile or Playstation version but it's just fun and every game is different obviously because the card choices are pretty random. I like playing it online because it makes it more interesting but the AI computers are alright as well even if they've obviously figured it out and passed it onto you to guess. It's just fun and gets the brain thinking. Plus who doesn't love a fake murder mystery.
Only Murders In The Building
I've recently got back into this series. I get in these moments where I binge watch a series then halfway through I stop and find something else to watch instead before forgetting about the other show. I don't know if anyone else gets like that, but I decided to finish series three finally and I'm glad I did because the trio is just a wonderful cast. It's the perfect dynamic and a real fun watch plus I like trying to figure it out with them, although I never get it right. It's always fun when it all comes together. I've only just started series four and I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes. It's also exciting to know there will be a fifth season of the show so I'm excited to catch up with season four so I can watch season five as it premieres. Either way I've been loving this show this month and I will continue next month.
Outnumbered
I started watching this show over a year ago and decided to continue where I left off because I know they're bringing out a Christmas special this year. I've actually been enjoying this show because it really shows off the reality of family life, having siblings and how everyone has their own different personalities. It's definitely a comfort watch and I've really been enjoying watching it again this month. I've got as far as the end of series 4 so I've got a few more episodes to go until I finish the series which I hope to do so I can watch the new Christmas special. It's definitely a show I've been really enjoying and wished I watched it sooner.
500 Days Of Summer
This is a movie I haven't watched in ten years when I first watched it in Media Studies. It's funny as I was watching I was reminded of my notes like how it's non linear, the roles are reversed in a sense. There's a lot of blue which means sad or cold. You get the idea if you've ever had to analyse a film. I decided to watch it again and really paid attention this time. It's such a unique film because it shows the reality of dating. It shows that it's not always love at first sight, happily ever after or dating can lead to something more. I think everyone should watch it just to get a lesson in dating and how it can be sometimes. It's not always a simple serious relationship and you realise people should listen when someone says they want something casual and nothing serious. Don't be that person that thinks I can change their mind because you're just going to end up hurt. Love is all about communication but it's also about listening to what people are saying. It can be very hard and messy, but eventually we will all find that special someone one day. Anyway, I was glad I decided to watch this film again because it is a really well made film and the cast is fantastic. Definitely check it out if you haven't seen it and if you have seen it, why not give it another rewatch.
Anyway, those are all the things I've been loving this month. Let me know what you've been enjoying this month, I would love to hear it.
Thank you for taking the time to view my blog and I'll be back tomorrow with the final chapter of this year, Chapter Twelve.
See you then.
