What's In My Going Out Bag?

As it's party season, I thought it would be a good idea to share what's in my going out bag as I'm going on a night out for Mad Friday this week and I'm so excited. Plus I thought it would be fun to share what I like to bring with me on a night out, let's get started.

This is my going out bag and I've had this bag for over ten years. I originally got it from Matalan and I love it because it's a small clutch bag with a little strap, but you can surprisingly fit a lot in it. Also with the strap allows you to hold it in your hand, on your wrist and shoulder which is always handy. It's definitely a preference of mine. I don't like big bags and I get sick of cross body bags. This just makes it easier for me to carry on a night out. 

Let's take a look inside.

The first essential of a night out is always my phone. I just have an iPhone 11 which I find works for me. I got this case from Amazon and the pop socket is from Amazon. It actually works as a phone stand which is always handy. A phone is good to have on a night out so you can stay in touch with people you're with as well as take photos and call a taxi too. Plus I don't really go anywhere without my phone so I always have it with me. 

I have a card holder to keep my card and ID inside. It also has a zip pocket for cash because sometimes you need a bit of cash whether it is for the taxi or to get in the clubs. However, most places take cards these days but I don't like to take a big purse with all my cards on a night out. I just like to keep it to a minimum of my ID and debit card.

It's always essential to have tissues on a night out because most clubs and bars always end up running out of toilet paper so it's just essential to bring your own tissues so you have them handy. Plus sometimes you may spill a drink which tissues can help to clean up too. 

My hair has a habit of getting tangled, especially after dancing so having a brush of my hair and a freshen up halfway through the night helps me out. That's why I gotta have a hairbrush in my bag. Yes my bag even has room for a mini hairbrush. 

This is what I keep inside a mini pocket and that is basically a spare pad, plus condoms. Honestly, you never know what is going to happen on a night out so it's good to be prepared for any scenario.

I like to have a perfume with me so this travel size perfume holder makes it possible. I just got it from Amazon and I believe I have Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel in it as I love that scent.

This is a Revolution Lip Gloss that I got from this year's beauty advent calendar. I like to have a lip gloss as it adds a bit of shine to my lips and like I said before you never know what will happen on a night out

Of course I also like to be prepared just in case my lips dry with my Carmex Moisturising Lip Balm and I love this cherry flavour one. 

This is a relatively new addition to my going out bag but I feel like it's important to have. There's a bottle opener as sometimes you need a bottle opener especially if you're going somewhere for pre drinks and nobody has a bottle opener there. The second thing is a torch and security alarm because you never really know what's going to happen on a night out. Plus it's better to be safe than sorry at the end of the day. I got these from Amazon which are part of a pink set. It's just good to have just in case.
