Long time, no see. I’m very aware that I tried and failed at Blogmas. I’m also aware of a scheduled post that went out on the 25th which would have been nicer had I done Blogmas. In fact I didn’t realise it had been posted until three days ago when I finally checked my blog again. I felt the need to make one final post of 2025 as this year has been a bit of a rollercoaster for me. Lots of good things happened and of course a few bad things but that’s life.  One thing I feel very guilty about is this blog. Posts have been scattered here and there and even though I’ve managed 94 posts this I feel like I could have done more. It’s why I felt I had to post one more time in 2025 just to explain my absence. I’ve been busy with working and also being in a relationship. As well as other aspects of my life. Merry Christmas to all you lovely readers, I hope you're all having a lovely day.  I'm currently in Manchester with my mum at my brother's house and we're spending Christmas together. Plus we're going out for Christmas dinner to an Italian restaurant which I'm looking forward to. They are doing a traditional turkey dinner which is nice but one of the options is a lasagna which is very tempting. I just wanted to make this final post for Blogmas and I'm grateful to anyone that has taken the time to read my posts over the past twenty five days. It really does mean a lot to me and even now if you're reading this on the day it was posted. It's that time of year where you have to buy all the people in your life a present. Of course the big thing that people say this time of year is it's not about the presents, it's about the people. Yet you still have to buy a present for people. I feel quite lucky that I have about fourteen people to buy for but still it can be a struggle to buy for people especially when you're not really sure what they like. That's why I'm here to help give you a few ideas which always work for me when I'm buying presents for people. Let's get started. For those of you who have been reading my blog this year, I started a writing journey back in May where I shared that I was writing a novel. I then went on in June and July to share two more updates of my writing journey. My original plan was to post every month of my writing journey but as you can see it's been five months since July and there has not been an update.  Honestly, the truth is. I haven't touched my novel since July. To date my novel still stands at 11,021 words which is exactly the same as my last update in July. The reason why I haven't touched my novel. I don't know. There can be a number of reasons, life got a little busy with work and dating. Also my art hobbies have taken over my life and my writing has taken a back seat. You know what can easily get anyone in the mood for Christmas is spending a day watching Christmas movies. I did this recently and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I ended up watching three movies in one day and it honestly felt really good and made me want to get the Christmas decorations up. I thought I'd share what I did during my Christmas movie day. Let's get started. Honestly the ideal Christmas movie day is having some popcorn and hot chocolate with the mini marshmallows. That's exactly what I did as it makes the movie day even more special and makes you feel like you're at the cinema. The first movie I watched was one of my favourites, The Holiday. This is a cosy film about two women who swap homes in order to find themselves and get away from their real life but end up meeting two men that change their whole perspective. I thought I’d share snippets of my day when I went travelling to Manchester and little snippets of what I got up too. Let’s get started. Starting with coffee and breakfast for one. This is a childhood breakfast of weetabix with milk, hot water and a bit of sugar mixed together. It looks like sludge but tastes lovely and nice for the colder mornings. Next I go to the bathroom to brush my teeth and I’ve been using this Avene cleansing gel which I bought recently. I’ve been slacking in my skincare in recent years so I thought I’d start again now as I’m not getting any younger: Time for makeup. I keep all my makeup and brushes in my makeup bag as it’s all in one place and I do spend a lot of weekends away either with my boyfriends or like on this day going away to Manchester. One of the things I love is having a pampering session, especially when it's winter and it's raining outside. It's nice to take some time for myself to do a few little things which I consider pampering. Now it's not extravagant or fancy because with pampering, you don't necessarily have to go all out with it. If it's what makes you happy and relaxed then go for it. It's about doing little things that bring a little self care into your life so let's get started. Any good pampering starts with putting my hair up and wearing a fluffy head band. I recently got this headband from Primark specifically for moments like this when I fancy pampering. To start off any pampering session, I like to get rid of any bits off my face like makeup and just make sure my face is fresh. I use these Superdrug biodegradable wipes to do so. It's finally December which means it's going to be non-stop Christmas on radio, TV and online. Even out on the streets, you'll see Christmas lights everywhere. You may find your neighbours have gone to town with those lights and you haven't even put any decorations up yet. If so then you are just like me. In our household, we haven't even considered putting the decorations up yet. Probably will do when we have a free moment but it is a lot of effort to get the tree and the decorations. Realising you still have wrapping paper and Christmas cards from last year you could have reused instead of buying new wrapping paper. Although once it's done, it is all nice and cosy in your house but it still is effort. This month of December I’ve decided to do Blogmas where I post everyday for twenty five days right up until Christmas. I decided to do this as I wanted to give back to all my readers who have read and supported my blog especially this year. It truly means a lot and I thought I’d give back by treating you to posting everyday for twenty five days which means twenty five days of content. From beauty to Christmas to experiences this month. There’s going to be something for everyone.  As for what I have planned for this month, obviously the biggy is that it’s the month of Christmas which means movies, shopping, decorating and feel good times. It's that time of the month where I share all the things I've been loving this month. Weirdly enough, it has a very similiar theme this month which will become very obvious to you. Let's get started. Harry Potter and Prisoner Of Azkaban PS2 One of my favourite Harry Potter games to play. I always love going back to playing on my PS2 and playing classic games. One of my all time favourite Harry Potter games is Prisoner of Azkaban on the PS2. I just find it cool that you get to play as all three characters and they all have a part to play in the storyline. They learn different spells each but also have a different set of skills. Harry is agile and can jump and climb. Hermione is smaller and can crawl into small spaces but also learns the majority of the spells which are fitting for the character. Ron has the Weasley touch which means he can open secret passages and search bookcases. This skill also confused me but then realised maybe it’s in relation to the fact his brothers ...

The month of November is a weird month. Halloween has just finished and now Christmas is the next big event in the calendar for a lot of people. I know there's also other celebrations in parts of the world that come next. Like for the UK today it's Bonfire Night where we celebrate a man who tried to blow up Parliament with fireworks. Of course, for many it's just going to watch a firework display and less about the history of the day. In fact I'm going to a firework display in my home town tonight. Another celebration that comes before Christmas from our friends across the pond is Thanksgiving. I'm sure there are other celebrations that may come before Christmas in other countries but those are the only two I can think of off the top of my head.  Yet it begs the question, is it too early to think about Christmas? We've finally arrived at the penultimate month of the year. Only two more months left of 2025 and it's been a very unexpected year for me.  I got my first car and I unexpectedly fell in love this year. Kind of surprising for me as these were two of the most unexpected things to happen to me and yet they did this year. It's a nice surprise to say the least.  This month though, I don't really have much going on. Of course there's bonfire night and I'm planning on seeing some fireworks in the town. Another thing that is happening is I'm going to Manchester next weekend to do a bit of shopping and see my brother. Other than that, not a lot else is going on. Happy Halloween! It's Halloween which means it's the last day of October and so it's time to share everything I've been loving this month. Let's get started. Monster: The Ed Gein Story Yes, I watched it. I was having a long debate about whether to watch this or not as it’s not my usual cup of tea. I’m not a big fan of horror stuff, yet I watch true crime documentaries and videos to learn more about different cases. I’d never actually heard of this case until it was released. I watched a video and read about it before I went into it just to know what I was letting myself in for. Of course the algorithm online started recommending posts on the series and people saying that it’s good or it’s bad. I knew then that I had to see it for myself. Of course going into dramatised shows of cases it’s never going to be fully accurate. We’ll never fully know what happened in the Gein household and of course there’s a lot of speculation about some of the crimes he did commit. Of c...

Going on dates is fun but sometimes it's hard to think of new dates and ideas on where to go. Sometimes you don't want to do the same old, same old dates so I thought I'd share some suggestions of date ideas you can do with either your partner, friend or even on your own if you're brave enough. Let's get started. Cinema Date I actually went on my first cinema date a few weeks ago and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I always love any chance of going to the cinema and I'm used to doing it either by myself or with my mum usually. This time though I got to experience it with my boyfriend which was nice. We spent the majority of it holding hands and eating popcorn. It's just a fun way to spend time together, obviously you don't do much talking but it's fun to experience a movie together.
