I Have A Dream

Now that I finally got my car, I want to do a bit more travelling. I would love to explore different parts of the UK. I felt quite inspired the other day after watching Mamma Mia Here We Go. I like how Donna just went off on her own and did her own thing. She didn't have a plan, she just knew where she wanted to go and figured it out when she got there. She even found love and ended up making a whole life for herself. 

One day, I would love to take a trip on my own. Go abroad somewhere. A dream I do have, it might be a silly dream but it's my dream. I would love to take a trip to Paris. It's a city I've always wanted to visit. I would love to go on the Eurostar and stay in a hotel. Then as cheesy as it sounds, I'd want to do all the tourist things. Go up the Eiffel Tower and see attractions like Notre Dame, Arc De Triomphe, the Louvre. Even go on a bus tour around the city. I feel like Paris is one of those cities you could travel and explore on your own. It's definitely a dream city I've always wanted to visit. Of course I'd love to go there with a potential partner as it is the city of love but that is seeming to be less and less likely as I get older. Something that does excite me is going on my own as I've never done it before and I would love to try. Maybe I'll do it or next year but I would love to do it. 

That is my little dream. It might be a cliche dream but it is something that brings me joy and excitement. I know in my heart it's going to happen one day. I can feel it. Plus once I do it then the possibilities for me will be endless.

Making Changes In 2025

New Year! New Me! It's that time of year where we sit down and set some goals for ourselves for 2025. Thinking this year will be different. This year we will actually achieve our goals. We spend a week or two doing just that where we work on our goals before giving up by the time February rolls around mainly because we lose the motivation to do what we really want to do or procrastinate it onto next month which is never a good idea because if you procrastinate it then most likely it won't get done.  That's why I thought I'd make this post as I wanted to make some changes to my life and apply them in 2025. Chapter Eleven

I feel like I say this at the start of every month but I can't believe how quickly October went. It felt like it was a complete blur and now we are in November. Just two more months left of 2024 which feels crazy to me cause I've done so much this year that this year has honestly been the best year for me. This month, I don't really have much planned. I actually finished my Christmas shopping a couple of days ago so I don't have any Christmas shopping to do this month which is great cause it means I can save a bit of money this month. I think I'm going to Manchester to enjoy the Christmas markets at the end of the month which I'm excited about. Plus I'm going to see the fireworks on bonfire night.
