Manchester Photo Journal
Two weeks ago I went to Manchester and I thought I'd share a photo journal of my trip to Manchester. Let's get started.
We got the train to Manchester which is always fun but this was probably the smoothest train journey I've taken. We were going to be in Manchester for three nights which feels like the longest hotel stay I've ever spent in Manchester but it was a lot of fun.
We got to our hotel and this was the lovely view. We stayed in a Holiday Inn Express which I never have any problems with. It was an ideal location as we were near the Arndale but also near Victoria station if we needed to travel around the city.
Speaking of which, we got the tram. I always love travelling by Tram in Manchester because it's so convenient and I'm so well known in the tramline that I know which stops to get off at or which trams we need to be on. I don't always need the tram map anymore. Sometimes though it's handy to look at the map, just in case.
We travelled to Media City where we mainly just walked around and enjoyed the views. We didn't really do a lot while we were here. We mainly just wandered around the shops and had a coffee which unfortunately I didn't take a picture of. There's lots of nice places to walk around though and you got the Quayside shopping centre nearby also.
Now it was time for a catch up with my brother. I had a cheeky pint of cider and black. It was nice to relax and enjoy eachothers company.
We then went to TCB Dining in Bolton and had a chinese buffet. It's one of those buffets where Robots serve your food. I created a beef chow mein with stir fried noodles and beef in satay sauce. It was really tasty.
Then it was time to go back to the hotel and have a sleep. This was my bed.
The next day we took a trip to the Trafford Centre.
We didn't do a lot of shopping. We ended up having a Wetherspoons breakfast and decided to watch A Complete Unknown in the cinema. I'd never heard of Bob Dylan songs before but my mum had. It was a really interesting movie and I thoroughly enjoyed watching it.
Finally we went back to the hotel where I had some cheesy chips because I was feeling peckish and hadn't eaten since breakfast. We spent the afternoon just chilling in the hotel.
We went out again for a meal with my brother but I forgot to take pictures. We went home where we watched some telly before heading to sleep.
Finally, we went home back to Wales and that was my trip to Manchester. Thank you for taking the time to view my blog and I'll be back tomorrow with another post.
See you then.
