Why I Love Spring?

Spring time is definitely here and I love this time of year because the sun is shining but the weather is still a bit cooler. The perfect weather for me. I thought for today's post I'd share all the reasons why I love Spring and you can let me know in the comments if you agree or if there's anything else that I've not mentioned. Maybe even the opposite, you dislike Spring or hate it with a passion. Either way, I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts in the comments below. 

Without further ado, here's all the reasons why I love Spring.

The Weather
I already mentioned the weather but it is an integral part of Spring. The weather is getting nicer, gone are the colder days. We're switching up our coats to lighter coats as it's not quite hot that we have to ditch them but it's not that cold that you need a thick coat. It's just the right temperature. Even now as I look out my window I can see sunny weather and blue skies which is just a nice sight to see.

Easter
I love Easter because it's an excuse to buy an Easter egg. I absolutely love chocolate so treating myself to an Easter egg is always a nice thing. I don't fully celebrate Easter as I'm twenty eight years old with no children but one day when I do have a family of my own I'd love to make it special. Easter egg hunts and making easter hats (did anyone else's school used to do that?) Growing up, my family never really did the easter bunny. It was more here's your Easter eggs and that's it. I think I'd want to incorporate the Easter bunny if I have a family of my own. Anyway, the best bit about Easter is it's a four day Bank Holiday weekend so what's not to love about it.

Flowers Bloom
It's nice to watch the flowers start to bloom and the leaves coming back on the trees after being bare all Winter. It's incredible how nature works like it. I'm always reminded of the book The Secret Garden in Springtime and it makes me wish I was a good gardener but every time I've attempted to plant something it's never seemed to grow. The only thing I've kept alive is a Cactus and that doesn't need much. Maybe one day when I have a garden of my own I'll become more invested in it. Luckily my mum is a great gardener so I get to see her plants grow and bloom. 

Longer Days
The days feel longer as the clocks have gone forward, we're having lighter evenings and mornings so it makes the day feel longer. Normally when it's pitch black at 5pm, you don't want to do anything when it's dark but now you can have evening walks and it still be light outside. As much as I love Autumn, I do like it when the days feel longer, especially in the evening when it's not getting dark until 8pm. 

There we have it. Those are all the reasons why I love Spring. I'm sure I've forgotten something but I can't think what it is. Like I said at the start of this post, let me know what you love or hate about Spring in the comments below. I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Making Changes In 2025

New Year! New Me! It's that time of year where we sit down and set some goals for ourselves for 2025. Thinking this year will be different. This year we will actually achieve our goals. We spend a week or two doing just that where we work on our goals before giving up by the time February rolls around mainly because we lose the motivation to do what we really want to do or procrastinate it onto next month which is never a good idea because if you procrastinate it then most likely it won't get done.  That's why I thought I'd make this post as I wanted to make some changes to my life and apply them in 2025. Chapter Eleven

I feel like I say this at the start of every month but I can't believe how quickly October went. It felt like it was a complete blur and now we are in November. Just two more months left of 2024 which feels crazy to me cause I've done so much this year that this year has honestly been the best year for me. This month, I don't really have much planned. I actually finished my Christmas shopping a couple of days ago so I don't have any Christmas shopping to do this month which is great cause it means I can save a bit of money this month. I think I'm going to Manchester to enjoy the Christmas markets at the end of the month which I'm excited about. Plus I'm going to see the fireworks on bonfire night. Other than that, I don't really have much planned for this month.
